Wraps - Easy Recipes for Handheld Meals




I find inspiration in all sorts of places! Found this cookbook at the library recently. I might have to add it to my overstuffed and groaning cookbook shelves.

It was published in 1997 by Chronicle books and has wraps of every sort. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Dessert.

This book knows no borders. Every major cuisine has it's own version of a wrap.  Despite this being a relatively small book, there is a huge variety of ingredients and cultures represented. Each wrap has it's own international theme.

The photos are beautiful. And the recipes look delicious. From traditional sandwiches to pizzas and even stews in wrap form.

Dessert wrap anyone? Rocky Road which includes chocolate, rice crispies, marshmallow and toasted pecans. Yum!
