Easy Lazy and Almost Instant

One of the fastest and easiest ways to make some yummy trail food is to buy things that you love and would eat at home and merely dehydrate them.

My dehydrator is humming away today in anticipation for the upcoming hiking season. I found Progresso Lentil Soup at the dollar store. $1 a can! This is something I eat a lot of in the winter, with some extra sharp white cheddar cheese and crackers. I'm looking forward to having it on the trail!

One can per lined tray is perfect. Try to spread the soup out as evenly as possible. I set the dehydrator to about 140* and here we go!  Easy Peasy!
