Trail Divas - A site devoted to sharing knowlege with other women and encouraging them to have the confidence to get outside and play. I am one of the "Divas."  We know how hard it is for women - with children, gear designed for men, etc. Trail Divas is there to help!

Freezerbag Cooking - Outdoor Food Simplified. Sarah and I met on the backpacker.com forums in 2003. We have been hiking (and cooking!) together ever since. Many of my ideas, and hers, are a result of us chatting about backcountry cooking as we hike along. Her cooking style may be different than mine, but a lot of my meals can be converted to her freezerbag cooking style. We sometimes swap ingredients and recipes too.
I even have a few actual freezer bag recipes posted.   Sarah is always an excellent source for inspiration when I have writers (or cooking?) block, getting me out on the trail and making me talk about backpacking food.

Rainforest Treks - One Pan Wonders is part of Mike's wilderness support crew. I helped provide him with meals and recipe ideas for his yearly multi-day epic treks. One of my signature recipes, GoBlue Fredo, is named for Mike.  I am looking forward to having a small part in his future adventures.
