Backcountry Cooking at its Finest

Warner Springs Monty

Monty has hiked the Pacific Crest Trail more than twice in its entirety and portions of it four times.  He is thru hiking the entire trail again in 2009.  He is known for his trail angel work in Warner Springs and other areas.  In 2007 Monty became the only thru-hiker to ever sub-ultralite the entire Pacific Crest Trail averaging a gear baseweight of less than five pounds.  You can follow along on his journey on www.trailjournals.com. One Pan Wonders is providing a portion of his food and technical support  when he reaches Washington. I will also act as a contact person should he need anything along the way.

 Tom and Tori Lindsley.

These two crazy friends of mine decided to hike the PCT a mere MONTH before flying to California and hitting the trail.

I had always told them when (and it was always a when, not an if) they did it that I would sponsor them in any way they needed. Much to my surprise, 2009 is the year!

I am transcribing their journal for them, which can be found here:
Two Crazy Hikin' Fools.

I will also be sending them some custom meals when I can. I'm sure they are sick of jerky and ramen by now.
